Completion Tracking Process

  1. Make a copy of the completion tracker template.

  2. Clear out the sample data.

  3. Export student names, grade, and student ID from PowerSchool using the Quick Export function. 

  4. Filter the PowerSchool export by grade level (7 or 9) and copy/paste the names and IDs into your blank template (columns A & B). 

  5. For each student by fitness area, enter the date the test was administered by double-clicking the test date cell to select a date from the calendar. 

  6. For each student by fitness area, select either Y (Yes) or N (No) from the dropdown menu in the Completed (Y/N) column. 


Participation Rate Submission Process

After you have finished entering the student-level completion data into the completion tracker, and have completed testing for all five fitness areas by no later than June 2, share your completion/participation rate tracker by email to assessment@laalliance.org. The Assessment Operations team will then coordinate with the Home Office compliance team to ensure that your PFT participation rates are reported in the School Accountability Report Card (SARC).
