The average of the median testing times in 21-22 across all three administrations (BOY, MY, and EOY) were as follows:
Scheduling Recommendation
Based on median testing times for 21-22, we recommend the following:
Middle schools should plan on providing 2 hours for math and 2 hours for reading
High schools should plan on providing 2.5 hours for math and 2 hours for reading
Schools should consider using a modified schedule to ensure that scholars have extended lengths of time to complete each test. We recommend 1-2 longer sessions as opposed to 3-4 shorter sessions.
Note that active proctoring (best practices linked here) will ensure that these tests are completed in a timely manner.
