Students access the i-Ready diagnostic through Clever so any kid without an active enrollment in PowerSchool and/or doesn’t have an SSID will not be synced to Clever and therefore won’t be able to take the diagnostic.  

From the time PS is updated, it takes one day (overnight) to sync to Clever then another day (overnight) to sync from Clever to i-Ready so that’s 2 days in total.   


Sometimes these student-access-related tickets will come to the sis email as opposed to the assessment email. So if you’re manning Freshdesk and you get a ticket that says a student can’t access i-Ready, you’ll determine if one of these three scenarios apply and respond accordingly. 

- Scenario 1: kid isn’t showing up in PS - first you’ll have the requester confirm registration verification, then once they’ve verified, let them know it’ll take 4 business days for the student to be added to PS, synced to Clever, and finally synced to i-Ready. 

- Scenario 2: the kid doesn’t have an SSID, let the requestor know they’ll be able to take the diagnostic in 4 business days. 

- Scenario 3: kid is in PS, and has an SSID, but doesn’t have active course enrollments, let the requestor know that the school has to add the enrollments and that the student will be able to take the diagnostic 2 business days after the enrollment has been added by the school. 


If student is still not able to access i-Ready diagnostic after the four day waiting period, please reassign to Tier 2 support (Diana or Renee).
